A Perfect Life?

Is there anything like a perfect life? is something that I have been mulling about for a while..
Here’s what I discovered:

* The Definition of Perfection is personal: What is a perfect life for one may be less-than-perfect for another. For one, a perfect life may be one in which you have complete independence in life. For another, a perfect life is one in which you have a happy family. For another, a perfect life is one in which there are no constraints of any sorts. For another, a perfect life is one which is abundant with all material comforts. For another, a perfect life is one in which you are in full control of yourself. For another, a perfect life is one in which you have complete freedom in every life dimension. For another, a perfect life is one in which you achieve balance in all life dimensions…

* It is TOUGH to achieve perfection in all life dimensions: Life has many dimensions which can be broadly classified as physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social and financial. It is tough (& almost close to impossible) to achieve perfection in all life dimensions even if you use your own personal definition in each of these dimensions. Nevertheless, it is possible

* The endeavor for a perfect life has to be conscious: Only a conscious attempt to aim for the perfect life will help one even get there. If not, it is imperative that you settle for the less-than-perfect life

* The strive for a perfect life is perennial : Given that a perfect life is elusive, the attempt to achieve the same is continuous… and usually lasts a lifetime
Perfection is a state of mind - One which can be achieved by aiming for the perfect inner state. The perfect inner state usually manifests itself externally in many ways – in the way we re-define perfection, in the way we view ourselves, in the way we view others and in the way we view the world.
