February 14th is Valentine’s Day and love is in the air…
But what does the 4 letter word “LOVE” really mean?
Is there a universal definition of love?
Is there a language of love?
Does love mean the same thing to you and me?
In an attempt to unravel this, I did some research on the subject. And based on my research, I discovered the following:
• In every piece of literature that I read, love has always been described as a very powerful, positive and transformational human emotion
• There is no universal definition of love — it means different things to different people
• Even for a single individual,
• The definition of love changes as one evolves in the journey of life
• The emotions, expressions, intensity and manifestations vary based on your relationships. For example: The love you feel varies for your parents, siblings, spouse, children, friends, family and yourself.
In this post, I have listed the 12 most quotes on love that I love…
that’s why life is full of so many wonderful gifts.
Two hands to hold.
Two legs to walk.
Two eyes to see.
Two ears to listen.
But why only one heart?
Because the other was given to someone else.
For us to find.
Pause and reflect…

ReplyDeletequotes on change
As much as I enjoyed going through those <a href="http://www.sacredlove.com/love-quotes-and-tips>love quotes</a>, I was looking for the best quote on love. Of course, I'm not the expert. But here's the real definition of love, perfectly described in Corelli's Mandolin.
ReplyDelete" Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. "
What do you think? Isn't it the perfect definition?
