This or That? - Take it all Mummy.....

Getting up in the morning to a sight when your 2+ old baby is blissfully asleep; and looks like a little angel - So happy, innocent, pure and perfect :)
Waking up groggy-eyed to the cry or spanking or kick of your 2+ old baby; especially when you barely slept at night :(.. And demanding for something which you know is humanly impossible[For e.g.: The Moon, The Sun, The Stars, A Lion, etc etc etc - Let your imagination go wild!]
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old baby wakes up on time, gets ready on time and has her breakfast on time - And is ready to go to school all smiles
Your 2+ old baby creates a fuss to wake up (& even beats you for waking her up), creates a tantrum to get ready and simply refuses to have breakfast or messes up the food, table and floor :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old baby gulps whatever is put on her plate - neat and clean ; and says "Yummy Mummy" :)
Your 2+ old baby creates a fuss even after you took extra pains to cook what she loves after an exhausting day; says she won't eat & tops it with "Bad Mummy" :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old baby hugs you when you return home, kisses you and says "I Love you Mummy" :)
Your 2+ old baby cries when she sees you, does not want to come near you and says "Mummy's bad" after a long tiring day out of home :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old baby keeps saying she is "Mummy's Baby" even though you did nothing specific in the recent past to earn such a sweet certificate
Your 2+ old baby keeps saying she is "Daddy's Baby" OR "Not Mummy's Baby" even though you did everything humanly possible to make and keep her happy :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old baby creates something (drawing, scribbles, tea in her toy tea-set, sandwich in her toy plate) and hands it over to you with great pride with a smile and twinkle in her eye, and says "This is exclusively for Mummy"
Your 2+ old baby destroys something you created, love or treasure - and smiles gleefully at her work of destruction :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both,
All I can say is it is part of motherhood - There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old randomly sings a rhyme which goes as below (Never heard this one before)
"Mummy Darling, Mummy Darling - I Love You
See your baby dancing
See your baby dancing
Just for YOU :)"
And adds cute actions and dance moves to go with the song
Your 2+ old cries, screams, howls, wails and brings the roof down - for no specific reason (@ home or in public) when you did nothing to earn such a response :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

Your 2+ old makes statements which surprise you - "Thank You", "Excuse Me", "I love you a lot Mummy", "I am Sorry. I won't do this again" (when a mistake is made) or even advice "It's OK Mummy. Leave it" :)
Your 2+ old shocks you using words you can't think of, don't understand or have never heard of  :(
Do you want this or that?
Having experienced both
All I can say is it is part of motherhood
There's good and bad, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain

All said and done
This or That
Its all for Mummy :)
