If you had just 60 seconds....

Look around you, read the news papers, watch the TV news channels and you see it everywhere... Natural disasters appear to be an increasingly real and common phenomena - Earthquakes, Floods, Rains, etc etc...

And when there is an impending calamity looming in your sight, sometimes all you have is 60 seconds to gather what's important and run for your life.. It's real! And if you don't believe me, watch videos of people who've been at the heart of a natural calamity or speak to someone who survived one - They will vouch for this from personal experience...

So the one question that's been on my mind has been... "If you had just 6o seconds, what will you take with you as a run for your life....?"

It's a profound question.. And compels you to think about what's really important to you? What you'd want to take away

I quizzed a lot of people in my personal network for the answer to this question....
The top answer for most people was this | Taking their loved one's along with them - family (parents, spouses, kids), friends and anyone else who was dear

I couldn't help but wonder when it was so obvious to the vast majority that people and relationships are the most important in life - Why do many of us fail to give time and effort and attention to the people and relationships in our life? Do we need more natural calamities to make us realize what is really IMPORTANT in the larger scheme of things???

NOTE: The more practical people gave me responses as - Money, Identity Proof (Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, etc.), Food, Water, Mobile, Medicines, Important Documentation / Papers, etc. Hmm.. Well! What can I say? Good that there are all kinds in the world!
